Tami Trostel (Owner / Head Montessori Teacher)
Tami holds a Montessori Early Childhood Education Credential (2 - 6 years), a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies as well as an Master’s of Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California. Tami has spent over 18 years as a Montessori Preschool teacher/director. Tami's Masters thesis was written on the importance of children spending time in the outdoors. She believes in the importance of developing the “whole” student. Her passion for the Montessori method, developed by Maria Montessori, as well as her love for the outdoors provides a perfect balance of both work and play. When not working at Eucalyptus Montessori Tami enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, surfing, snowboarding, and training Jiu jitsu.
Ashley Trostel (Assistant teacher)
Ashley attended Montessori School for four years preschool through Kindergarten in Davis, California. Her passion for the Montessori method began young and continues to grow strong. She is currently pursing a degree in Business at San Francisco State University. Later she plans to enroll in the Montessori certifiation program at Saint Marys College of California. She has over six years of experience working with children ages twelve months to six years. She has a special fondness for the outdoors and hopes to share her passion with each child—through gardening, nature walks, and nature inspired art projects. When not working at Eucalyptus Montessori Ashely enjoys traveling, exercising, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
